16/02/2010 - The weather continues to wreak havoc for the Wanderers with their match against Llandeilo on the 30th January falling victim to the foul weather. With some clubs playing the Wanderers have now dropped down into the bottom three, but with games in hand over their rivals. On Saturday they travel to play Morriston in a league match, which will only be their third game since they defeated Penclawdd way back on the 5th December. 29/01/2010 - The weather beat the Wanderers again when their rescheduled match at home to Gorseinon was again postponed, this time due to a waterlogged pitch. Last Saturday the Wanderers travelled to play Lampeter Town and were defeated by 42 points to 10 in what was their first match since Boxing Day. Tomorrow they entertain Llandeilo at home before the Six-Nations forces another two week break, before they travel to Morriston on the 20th February. 12/01/2010 - The Wanderers entertain Gorseinon at home on Saturday 16th January in a re-arranged league fixture. The snow and ice of the last few weeks have seen the away match at Laugharne and the home match against Newcastle Emlyn both cancelled. Boxing Day saw the Wanderers surrender their unbeaten home record as they went down narrowly to visiting Crymych by 8 points to 5. It was a match the Wanderers could have won as they missed several kicks at goal. Former Wales, Neath and Scarlets prop John Davies featured in the visitors front row. 22/12/2009 - The Wanderers defeated Penclawdd by 13 points to 9 to finally get their first win of the season, but the home match against Gorseinon last Saturday fell victim to the freezing weather. Hopefully this will improve to allow this Saturday's home match against Crymych to go ahead as scheduled. 04/12/2009 - The Wanderers return to league action as they travel to take on Penclawdd tomorrow. The previous match against Haverfordwest (away) on the 14th November was postponed due to the wet weather. 03/11/2009 - The Wanderers bowed out of the SWALEC Plate when they went down by 50 points to 14 against Division 2 West side Ammanford on Saturday. Read the match report here. Due to the Autumn Internationals the next matches will be Haverfordwest (Away) on the 14th November and then Penclawdd (Away) on the 5th December. 24/10/2009 - The Wanderers ended the first batch of league fixtures with a 50/50 record as they defeated visiting Llanybydder by 28 points to 5 at Stradey today. They remain unbeaten at home, but are still looking to break their duck away from home. Next Saturday they travel to take on Division 2 West side Ammanford in the SWALEC Plate. Ammanford have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 5 of their league matches to date. Due to the Autumn internationals there will only be one match in November and that will be on the 14th when the Wanderers travel to take on Haverfordwest who are languishing near the bottom of the table but defeated Llanybydder 74-0, so what team will turn up on the day? Photos from the Llanybydder match have been posted on the site and can be found here. Match report from our intrepid reporter can now be found here. 23/10/2009 - Our intrepid reporter has finally submitted his report from last Saturday's away fixture against Cardigan where the Wanderers again failed to come away with the spoils, going down by 28 points to 20. Report here. They will be looking to maintain their unbeaten home record when they take on strugglers Llanybydder at Stradey tomorrow. The visitors went down by 74 points to nil against Haverfordwest last week. The team selected can be found here. With their indiscipline so far this season let us hope that the Wanderers can play all 80 minutes with fifteen players on the field of play. 11/10/2009 - The Wanderers retained their unbeaten home recorded with a 25 points to 18 win over second placed Morriston at Stradey yesterday. Indiscipline was again a problem with players sin-binned. Links to photos from the match can be found here and the match report from our roving reporter is now here. 03/10/2009 - The Wanderers are still looking for their first away win of the season after going down 39-8 at Llandeilo today. 29/09/2009 - The Wanderers defeated visiting Lampeter Town by 36 points to 27 at Stradey on Saturday. Our roving reporter, who has been missing for over a year, has submitted a match report which can be viewed here. Let us all hope that he doesn't decide to take another year out!! Saturday sees the Wanderers travel to take on promoted Llandeilo and after two defeats on the road they will be hoping to carry on where they left off last weekend. There's just no pleasing some people!!
25/09/2009 - The Wanderers went down to their second defeat of the season when they lost 28-11 at early pace setters Newcastle Emlyn on Saturday. They entertain Lampeter Town tomorrow and the side selected for the match can be found here. 18/09/2009 - The Wanderers have had mixed results in their opening two league fixtures with defeat by 31 points to 20 in their opening match at Crymych, but an excellent 13-8 win over visiting Laugharne last Saturday. Tomorrow they travel to take on Newcastle Emlyn and next week they entertain another Cardiganshire side in Lampeter Town and they will be looking to continue the form they showed against Laugharne. 02/09/2009 - The Wanderers open their 2009/10 campaign with a trip down to North Pembrokeshire to take on Crymych on Saturday 5th September. James Bannister returns as club captain and there is a new coaching team in Gareth Rees and John Davies (No it's not the webmaster!!). Laugharne will be the first visitors to Stradey on Saturday 12th September. 02/09/2009 - Firstly apologies for the lateness in updating the site.
