13/04/2004 - This weekend sees the annual Llanelli Wanderers mini rugby tournament and there is a lot of work to do and we will be looking for help on Friday night and on Saturday and Sunday, after the tournament has finished. If you can help tell your coaches.

Llanelli Wanderers under 9s mean machine continued to be unbeaten this season with a crushing defeat of Llandeilo. Wanderers having a much depleated team through illness and injury were able to demonstrate what a stong squad the under 9's are. Alex Panianatou opened the scoring early on in the game and continued to be a threat all match, but an on form Aled the tornado Evans only managed to score four tries, whilst Jack Jenkins making a welcome return from illness scored 2 tries. Evan Hoyt and Josh Jenkins were unlucky not to score but the touch line stopped both short. Dai the exorcet Treharne tackled well throughout the game, whilst Rhys Gravelle and Nicola Harries were stalwarts in defence . This weekend Llanelli Wanderers Mini Section travelled
the short journey to Felinfoel to play them in our local derby

5/10/2003 - Tour deposits are now due 5/10/2003 - Christmas parties have been booked as follows: Under 8's and 9's on Sunday 14th December at 5pm We would ask parents to follow the usual procedure and bring a plate of food with them to the party. Under 8's to 11's away to Llandeilo On a sour note: We are very sorry to announce that the under 13's have disbanded due to a lack of numbers. We tried to keep going but as we all know with two coaches leaving, one in 2001 and the other in 2002 and going to the same club, we found that we could not run a team when these coaches are openly trying to make the team fold. Well done to them I hope they are proud of themselves. 23/9/2003 - Llanelli Wanderers RFC Welsh Festival of Rugby 2004 We are now taking club names for entry in our rugby festival which will take place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th April 2004. Registration 9.30am and kick off time 10am on both days. The under 8's, 9's, 10's, 11's and 12's will take place on the Saturday. Squad size is 15 players with 10 on the field. The under 13's, 14's, 15's and 16's will take place on the Sunday with squad size being 18 with 15 players on the field. All matches will be played on the Coleg Sir Gar and Ysgol y Strade pitches. There is an entry fee. This year we are able to provide accommodation at very reasonable rates from Friday 16th through to Monday 19th April. Contact Mike Jones on 01554-770916 for more information on entry fees and on the costs of accommodation. 23/9/2003 - End of Season Tour Names are now being taken for an end of season tour.
