Chairman's Message 2005

It is an honour to be re-elected as Chairman of the Llanelli Wanderers Mini and Junior Section for the coming season. I hope you have all had a good holiday and are fully rested for the coming season. The Season has started and the Fixture list is completed.

There are some changes to the Administration staff, including the appointment of a Child Protection Officer. Details are given below.

We have a very strong and vibrant Mini and Junior Section which is envied throughout South West Wales. It is my intention to continue to work with the administration staff, coaches, players and parents to maintain this position.

I thank you all in anticipation of your support for the Season – without your assistance we would not be able to run the Mini and Junior Section.

We had a very successful Rugby Tournament last Season, and are already arranging this Season’s Tournament for Saturday 22^nd and Sunday 23^rd April 2006.

Our Tournament has now become the largest tournament for Mini and Junior rugby within Wales and is the second largest of its kind in the UK. We are continuing to get entries from teams throughout the UK.

In order that this Season’s Tournament can be as successful as in recent years we need the help of you all. We are also looking for Sponsors for the Tournament, for adverts in the programme and/or sponsoring trophies etc.

If you can help please contact me and / or your coach(es) for information. The profits from the Tournament are used for the benefit of players across the age group.
