27/04/2004 - 4 New Random Polls have been added just follow the link opposite.

26/04/2004 - Prepare yourselves for a big shock - the match report for Saturday's match is now online - yes that's correct!!  Our intrepid reporter has made an extra special effort this week in the hope that he can keep his job for next season.

24/04/2004 - Advance Notice - The Triennial Dinner will be held on Friday 26th November 2004 at the Stradey Park Hotel.  Watch this space for further details of cost and speakers.

24/04/04 - Light training is to continue on Thursday evenings for the summer period.  Watch this space for further information regarding resumption of full training for the 2004-05 season.

24/04/2004 - The season ends in disappointment for the Wanderers despite a 34-3 win over Llandybie today as other results went against them.  With Loughor and Pembroke Dock Quins both winning their matches the six try performance by the Wanderers made little difference to the league table as both clubs have games in hand and a superior try count.  After 2 successive promotions the boys have done well to come so close to a third promotion.  Lets hope the boys all stay together for a promotion push next year.

23/04/2004 - The threat of the sack has worked and the match report from last Saturday's game against Neyland has finally arrived from our intrepid reporter.

22/04/04 - The final match of the season has arrived and the team to play Llandybie shows four changes from the one which defeated Neyland last weekend.  Gareth Rees and Jonathan Hope come into the front row, Robert Jenkins into the back row and Jonathan Davies replaces Barrie Davies at outside half.  There is also one positional change with Gavin Mathias moving from prop back into the second row.  We still need plenty of tries to keep the pressure on Loughor and Pembroke Dock Quins who play each other on Friday 7th May.  Good luck boys.

22/04/04 - Still no report of last week's match from our intrepid reporter.  He has been threatened with the sack but says he will try his hardest to get it to webby on Friday!!  Who is the reporter who has been out and about in all weathers supplying the website with these weekly reports?  Will he still be in a job next season?

17/04/2004 - Another fine performance saw off battling Neyland by 42 points to 6 on Saturday with another 8 tries in the bag.  Pembroke Dock and Loughor both won to keep it as tight as ever at the top of the table.

16/04/2004 - Having had a few days off this week, work interfered with our intrepid reporter's attempts to get the match report for the Tycroes match in to webby, but it has now arrived - better late than never!!

15/04/2004 - Team to play Neyland at home on Saturday shows 2 changes from the team that defeated Tycroes last Saturday with Gavin Mathias and Andrew Jenkins coming into the front row to replace Jonathan Hope and Gareth Rees who both move down onto the bench.

13/04/2004 - This weekend sees the annual Llanelli Wanderers junior rugby  tournament and there is a lot of work to do.  We will be looking for help on Friday night and on Saturday and Sunday, after the tournament has finished.  If you can help in any way contact the junior coaches.

10/04/2004 - Wanderers hammer Tycroes 60-3 with a scintillating display of running rugby, scoring 10 tries in the process.  The match report has arrived. The bad news is that Pembroke Dock Quins beat Llandybie by 50 points to 24 and Loughor beat Milford Haven by 93-0 so it is still as tight as ever at the top of the table.

03/04/2004 - Wanderers continue to keep the pressure on at the top of the table as they defeated Milford Haven 32-10 this afternoon, scoring 5 tries to 1.  Match report is now online.

26/03/2004 - Dates have been arranged for the postponed fixtures against Tycroes - 10th April, Neyland - 17th April and Llandybie - 24th April, which are all at home.

18/03/2004 - Following a suggestion from someone on the Guestbook a Livechat forum has been added to the website as of today.

17/03/2004 - The first player profile has been added - click here for information on how you can have your profile added, and to see who the brave one is.

17/03/2004 - The club have been unable to re-arrange a fixture for this weekend, so you'll just have to get bladdered watching Wales against the old enemy at Twickers.

16/03/2004 - Attempts are being made to re-arrange the league fixture against Tycroes for this coming Saturday with an early kick-off due to the England v Wales international.  Watch this space for further developments.

14/03/2004 - Wanderers defeat Bynea 32-5 scoring five tries in the process.  The bad news is Loughor and Pembroke Dock Quins won as well.  We have to make sure that we win all our remaining matches and hope that one of them slip up!!  The match report from our intrepid reporter has now arrived.

07/03/2004 - Two re-arranged fixtures played on Saturday - updated league table online - click on the link opposite.

04/03/2004 - There are tickets available for the Wales v France match at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on Sunday, Kick off 3pm.  Anyone interested should contact Steve James or Mike Morgan as soon as possible.

02/03/2004 - The club has been unable to re-arrange any of their outstanding league matches for this coming Saturday 6/3/04 so the next match will be on Saturday 13th March against Bynea away.  Training will continue as normal.

28/02/2004 - Weather has beaten us - the match against Llandybie has had to be postponed as the ground is still partly covered in snow and hard in places.

26/02/2004 - Training for tonight (Thursday) has been cancelled due to the weather.  Due to some late injuries a squad has been selected for Saturday's match against Llandybie.

25/02/2004 - Match report for the Betws match has finally arrived

21/02/2004 - Wanderers defeated Betws 37-10 at Stradey this afternoon, scoring six tries to one.  See Match report from our intrepid reporter.

15/02/2004 - Wanderers will play Betws at home on Saturday 21st February 2004 in a re-arranged league fixture.  The match was originally scheduled for Saturday 31st January 2004 but was cancelled due to the wet weather.

07/02/2004 - Wanderers put in a fine performance to defeat the 'Blacks' of Burry Port 31-5 this afternoon.  The Wanderers scored 2 quick tries to take a 14-0 lead before the home side pulled one back.  Despite the wet conditions the Wanderers scored 5 tries in all.  A match report from our intrepid reporter who braved the biting wind to bring you his report earlier than expected.  With the Six Nations Championship starting next Saturday there is a 3 week wait before the next match when we take on Llandybie at Stradey.

06/02/2004 - With the Wanderers match against Betws falling victim to the weather last weekend Pembroke Dock Quins' win over Fishguard moved them up into second place in the table.  Only 9 points now separate this weekends opponents Burry Port, who are in 6th place and Loughor who are top.  Tomorrow's big local derby against the 'Blacks' is a "must win" one if we are to maintain our promotion push.

26/01/2004 - It has not been a happy new year for the Wanderers as they went down by 20 points to 5 against Pembroke Dock Quins on Saturday.  With Loughor losing 14-13 to the All Blacks of Burry Port and Laugharne defeating Betws 43-17 only 3 points now separate the top 4 clubs. Match report has now been added - ( 28/01/04 - Our intrepid reporter let work interfere with his report writing!!!).

19/01/2004 - The first XV get back to winning ways with a comfortable 43 - 13 win over Fishguard on Saturday, this should have brought a smile to our roving reporter when he wrote his match report.  Laugharne also did us a favour by defeating close rivals and next Saturday's opponents Pembroke Dock Quins 17 - 13.

15/01/2004 - There were 24 players training tonight - coaches are hopeful of fielding a second XV next weekend.

12/01/2004 - With the Wanderers going down to their second successive defeat, at the hands of Laugharne on Saturday and Loughor losing to Pembroke Dock Quins, it is now  very tight at the top of the table.  With a big match against the Quins less than 2 weeks away the team will have to get things back on track in their away match against Fishguard on Saturday.  The league table has been updated - match report from our intrepid reporter has now been added

08/01/2004 - The team for the match against Laugharne on Saturday will not be finalised until the day of the match. This is due to confirmation on transfers and the availability of players due to injuries.  The squad is requested to attend the field by 12.15pm.

07/01/2004 - Hot News - Wanderers make 3 new signings who will hopefully be available for this Saturday's match against Laugharne.

04/01/2004 - First XV drop down to second place after a disappointing 41-15 defeat at the hands of Loughor on Saturday.  Match report is now online.
